US President Donald TRUMP finalized $12 billion in trade agreements with Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, marking a strategic push to deepen economic ties in Central Asia. The deals include significant aerospace and rail contracts, positioning the US as a key partner in the region.
Uzbekistan committed to purchasing up to 22 Boeing aircraft valued at $8 billion, with state-owned Uzbekistan Airlines acquiring 14 planes and retaining an option for eight more. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan inked a $4.2 billion agreement with Pennsylvania-based Wabtec Corporation for 300 locomotives and rail equipment.
